The English language was built upon the traditions of many diverse cultures.  The early history of British literature combines many themes, traditions, and social events. Students will be given an understanding of the British literary periods, starting with the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britain in 449 AD and ending with the Romantic Period in the mid- 19th century.

opying another student's work, plagiarizing, or having another student do your work will result in a zero grade.
 
Students are expected to be in their seats, facing front, at the time the bell rings, ending the class session.  NO ONE WILL BE EXCUSED UNLESS ALL STUDENTS ARE READY!
